ট্রয় চলচ্চিত্রের রাজনৈতিক সংলাপ
পৃথিবীর সবচেয়ে আলোচিত মহাকাব্যগুলোর একটি হোমারের ঈলিয়াড। নাটক, টিভি সিরিজ, চলচ্চিত্র নানা শিল্প মাধ্যমে এটি অনেকবার রূপান্তরিত হয়েছে। প্রাচীন গ্রীসকে জানার একটি বড় উপায় এই ঈলিয়াড। গ্রীসের মানুষের ভাবনা, বিশ্বাস, সমাজব্যবস্থা, আশা আকাঙ্খা, উচ্চাভিলাস, কুসংসংস্কার সবকিছুর নথি হয়ে দাঁড়য়েছে ঈলিয়াড। ২০০৪ সালে হলিউডে ঈলিয়াডের কাহিনীর উপর ভিত্তি করে নির্মিত হয়েছে ট্রয় চলচ্চিত্র। মহাকাব্যিক আবহ তৈরির প্রায় সকল চেষ্টাই এতে ছিল। মহাকাব্যের গভীরতাকে ধারণ করার জন্য এর সংলাপগুলোও অনেক যত্ন নিয়ে তৈরি করা হয়েছে। ট্রয়ের প্রতি পদে পদে আছে রাজনৈতিক সংলাপ। ক্ষমতার লোভ, দখলের মানসিকতা, কখনো দেশপ্রেম খুব স্পষ্টভাবে উঠে এসেছে চরিত্রগুলোর সংলাপে। ট্রয়ের যে সংলাপগুলো রাজনৈতিকভাবে তাৎপর্যপূর্ণ সেগুলোর উপর খনিকটা আলোকপাত করার চেষ্টা করা হয়েছে এই লেখাটিতে।
শুরুতেই দেখা যায়, রাজা আগামেমনন আক্রমণ করে থেসালি রাজ্য। থেসালির রাজা ট্রিওপাসের সঙ্গে আগামেমননের যুদ্ধ পূর্ববর্তী বাক্য বিনিময় হয়।
Triopas: Remove your army from my land. Agamemnon: I like your land. I think we'll stay. I like your soldiers too. They fought bravely yesterday. Not well, but bravely. Triopas: They won't fight for you. Agamemnon: That's what the Messenians said. And the Arcadians and the Epeians. Now they all fight for me. Triopas: You can't have the whole world, Agamemnon. It's too big, even for you.
মহাত্মা গান্ধী বলেছিলেন, The world has enough for everyone's need, but not enough for anyone's greed. এই কথারই প্রতিধ্বনি, পৃথিবীটা আগামেমননের মত সর্বজয়ীর জন্যও অনেক বড়।
আগামেমনন এবং ট্রিওপাসের যুদ্ধে একিলিস প্রথমে যোগ দেয় না। পরে বিশেষভাবে অনুরোধ করার পরে একিলিস যুদ্ধ করতে আসে। থেসালির বোয়াগ্রিয়াসের সাথে তাকে যুদ্ধ করতে বলা হয়। কিন্তু আগামেমননের সাথে একিলিসের উত্তপ্ত বাক্য বিমিময়ের পর একিলিস যুদ্ধক্ষেত্র ত্যাগ করছিল। তখন পাইলোসের রাজা নেস্টর একিলিসিকে বোঝাতে চেষ্টা করেন।
Nestor: Achilles. Achilles. Look at the men's faces. You can save hundreds of them. You can end this war with a swing of your sword. Think how many songs they'll sing in your honor. Let them go home to their wives. Achilles: Imagine a king who fights his own battles. Wouldn't that be a sight.

প্যারিস যখন স্পার্টার রাজা মেনেলাওসের স্ত্রী হেলেনকে নিয়ে ট্রয়ে চলে যায়, তখন মেনেলাওস ট্রয়ের সাথে যুদ্ধের পরিকল্পনার জন্য নিজের বড় ভাই আগামেমননের কাছে যায়। যুদ্ধ আর শান্তি বিষয়ে তাদের মতামত লক্ষ্য করা মত।
Menelaus: I won't rest till I've burned Troy to the ground. Agamemnon: I thought you wanted peace with Troy. Menelaus: I should have listened to you. Agamemnon: Peace is for the women... ...and the weak. Empires are forged by war. ....................... Menelaus: The Trojans spat on my honor. An insult to me is an insult to you. Agamemnon: And an insult to me is an insult to all Greeks.
মেনেলাওসের সাথে কথা বলার পর আগামেমনন নেস্টরের সাথে পরামর্শ করতে বসেন। তাদের কথায় গ্রীসের রাজনীতি এবং যুদ্ধনীতির অনেক কথা জানতে পারা যায়। রাজনৈতিক সংলাপের জন্য এই অংশটি খুব উল্লেখযোগ্য।

ঠিক পরদিন সকালেই যুদ্ধক্ষেত্রে আগামেমনন হেক্টরের কথার প্রতিফলন ঘটায়। প্যারিস প্রস্তাব রাখে মেনেলাওস এবং প্যারিস হেলেনের অধিকার নিয়ে দ্বন্দ্ব লড়বে। বিজয়ী যোদ্ধা হেলেনকে পাবে। আগামেমনন প্রস্তাবে রাজী হয় না, বলে, A brave offer, but not enough.
মেনেলাওস এবং আগামেমনন তখন একান্তে কথা বলে। একজন চায় প্রতিশোধ, একজন চায় ক্ষমতা।
Menelaus: Let me kill this little peacock. Agamemnon: I didn't come here for your pretty wife. I came here for Troy. Menelaus: I came for my honor. His every breath insults me. Let me kill him. When he's lying in the dust, signal to attack. You'll have your city. I'll have my revenge. Agamemnon: So be it.
আরেকটি বিষয় এখানে লক্ষ্য করার মত, হেলেনের অধিকার নিয়ে দুই রাজপুরুষ দ্বন্দ্বযুদ্ধে লিপ্ত হয়। বিজয়ী যোদ্ধা হেলেনকে পাওয়ার প্রস্তাবে উভয়ে সম্মত হয়। কিন্তু হেলেন কাকে চায়, সে মতামতকে সম্মান জানানোর প্রস্তাব রাখে নি কেউ। এখানে শুধু রাজ্য দখলের রাজনীতি হয় নি, নারীর অধিকার নিয়েও পুরুষের পেশীতন্ত্র সক্রিয় ছিল।

একিলিসের অনুপস্থিতিতে যখন গ্রীক বাহিনী পরাজয়ের দ্বারপ্রান্তে তখন এই পেট্রোক্লাস একদিন একিলিসের যুদ্ধ পোশাক পরে যুদ্ধে যায়। সবাই তাকে একিলিস বলেই ধরে নেয়। হেক্টরের সাথে সম্মুখ যুদ্ধে সে মারা যায়। পেট্রোক্লাসের মৃত্যুতে একিলিসের পুনরায় যুদ্ধে অংশগ্রহণ নিশ্চিত হয়ে যায়। তার অন্ত্যেষ্টিক্রিয়ায় আগামেমনন উপস্থিত হয়। কিন্তু তার মধ্যে মৃত্যুর বেদনা ছিল না। নেস্টরকে সে বলেছিল, That boy has just saved this war for us.
একিলিস যদিও কেবলই যোদ্ধা ছিল, মাঝে মাঝে মানুষের জীবন নিয়ে সে খুব সারগর্ভ মন্তব্য করত। ট্রয়ের মন্দিরের পূজারিনী ব্রিসেইসকে মানুষের অমরত্ব নিয়ে সে বলেছিল,

একই বিষয়ে ট্রয়ের রাজা প্রিয়ামের সাথেও একিলিসের কথা হয়। যুদ্ধে প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী যোদ্ধা হেক্টরের মৃতদেহের সাথে চরম নিষ্ঠুর আচরণ করে একিলিস। হেক্টরের মৃতদেহ সংগ্রহ করে সৎকারের অনুরোধ নিয়ে প্রিয়াম একিলিসের কাছে আসে।
Achilles: He killed my cousin. Priam: He thought it was you. How many cousins have you killed? How many sons and fathers and brothers and husbands? How many, brave Achilles? . . . . . Achilles: If I let you walk out of here... if I let you take him...it doesn't change anything. You're still my enemy in the morning. Priam: You're still my enemy tonight. But even enemies can show respect.
ট্রয় ও গ্রীসের যুদ্ধে অনেক হতাহতের পরে ক্ষমতার পালাবদল হয়। কাহিনীর শেষে দেখা যায় কেউ সহযোদ্ধা ও স্বজনদের শবদাহ করছে, ট্রয়ের জীবিতরা সর্বহারা হয়ে পালিয়ে পথে নেমেছে।
মানুষের মধ্যে তবু ক্ষমতার লোভ শেষ হয় না। আজও আগামেমননরাই ক্ষমতার শীর্ষে থাকে। যুদ্ধে তাদের সাথে মিত্র হয় নেস্টর, অডিসিউস, ট্রিওপাসরা। আজও একিলিসদের মত প্রতিভাবান খুনীরা আগামেমননদের সহায় হয়ে যায়। ঈলিয়াড শেষ পর্যন্ত প্যারিস আর হেলেনের প্রেমের গল্প থাকে না; হয়ে ওঠে ক্ষমতার লোভ, হত্যা আর প্রতিশোধের গল্প। এটাই মানুষের ইতিহাস, সভ্যতার সত্যিকার চেহারা।
